Rural Marketing Association (RMAI) has elected its new committee for the year 2014-16. The members were elected at the body’s annual general meeting held at IIC, New Delhi on 20th June 2014.
Mr. Sanjay Kaul, CEO, Impact Communications has been elected as the new President of RMAI. He takes the mantle from Pradeep Kashyap CEO, MART who held the position of president for 5 years. Mr. Kashyap also continues as immediate past president for a period next two years.
Expressing his views on the newly elected team Mr. Kashyap said, “The new team is young and enthusiastic. I am sure they will take RMAI to a greater heights and service the needs of the Industry effectively”
Mr. Raj Kr Jha, Founder, Rural Campus has been elected as Vice President, Mr. George Angelo, Executive Director (Sales) at Dabur India Ltd as Secretary and Dr. Anup Kalra, Executive Director of Ayurvet Ltd as treasurer. To further expand the RMAI initiatives across country two Zonal Heads have been elected. Mr. Khurram Askari, Director, Insight Outreach Pvt Ltd and Himanshu Shah, Chief Mentor, SOI Live Marketing & Events for South & West respectively.
The Executive Committee members include Mr. Biswabaran Chakrabarty General Manager, Crompton Greaves Ltd, Mr. Punit Chadha, General Manager (Rural Marketing) at Maruti, Mr. Puneet Vidyarthi, General Manager and Head (Rural) at JCB India Ltd, Mr. Siddhartha Chaturvedi, CEO, Event Crafter and Mr. Nikhil Sharma, Partner, MART.
“RMAI is an established knowledge sharing body and has a unique stature of its own, my top priority will be to further strengthen this positioning through various initiatives. My endeavor also would be to make RMAI much more inclusive for all stakeholders. ” Said Mr. Sanjay Kaul, the new president on sharing his vision for RMAI.
